Lagbaja rubbishes Omisore reminds him of his covered allegation murder of Bola Ige

"Though the court of the land discharged and acquitted you (Omisore) in the murder case against the former Minister of Justice in Nigeria, the late Cicero of Esa-Oke & foremost nationalist, Chief Bola Ige, I have deep-rooted innermost conviction that you are culpable in the death of my mentor and benefactor. If you offer me all the allocation of Osun State during your four-year-tenure peradventure you win (which I seriously doubt), I will not perform for Iyiola Omisore governorship election.”

Apart from the scourge of corruption which is ravaging Nigeria, Thanks to a “Cabal” of unrepentant destroyers, Nigerians are the most creative specie in the globe. Even the recent comical reaction of the wife (Dame Patience Faka Jonathan) the present President Good luck Jonathan found its way into the comedy circle. Europe and the world Joins Nigeria to save the abducted girls,( I hope the President is not Dancing in a Party)

Europe Joins Nigeria
Nigeria has become popular on the world Map mostly for the wrong reason, The ageless corruption left unattended has given birth to nameless acts of wickedness and rottenness, The leadership of Nigeria turned deaf ears to the crippling cankerworms and have became more brazen in thievery until injustices were all the more committed by officers of the Law.

The Police have been Notorious, The Military weak and incapable, the citizens are hungry and can hardly think of tangible change, most of whom are conquered by fears as  the drama continues, for about 15 Years, terrorist group known as Boko Haram emerged, more fiercely and daring than the corrupt government and succeeding in crippling the government and unwilling to listen to the voice of reason. Even the seat of Power in Abuja is under severe threats and yet the government thinks corruption is not the cause.

US Army on Nigerian soil to assist Nigerian weak Army

US army on Nigerian Soil assisting
The United States of America and Britain have joined the search for the 200 girls abducted from Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno, by the dreaded Boko Haram sect.

Highly commendable by the United State of America, Their usual good gestures to save weak nation from their calamity from terrorist also, this is a clear indication that Nigerian Military is a Failure, A bunch of corruptly influenced armed criminals, whose work is to abuse the rights of citizens while collecting salaries from the pain of the people they cannot protect. I hope someone among them wakes up to the need of clearing the mess

Chibok Girls: First Lady Breaks Down In Tears

The Comedy continues as Patience Jonathan wife of the "Clueless" President Goodluck Jonathan who CNN reporter Aisha Sese earlier reported her amazement about how the President has been quiet and almost confused as to how to save the over 200 young girls kidnapped in Borno. In the usual Nigerian style, A national media chat was organised on one end to deceive the international community while the wife was busy weeping emotions Now recorded to show a seeming empathy as she blames the kidnap on the school authority and the West African Examination body that conducted the exams
The usual fire brigade approach to deceive and push responsibility well practice by Nigerian corrupt Rulers

Donald Sterling, owner of NBA's L.A. Clippers, banned for life

Donald Sterling
Donald Sterling, owner of the Los Angeles Clippers, has a history of alleged racism (and general assholish behavior) going back years, but a recording of the owner engaging in a racist tirade against his girlfriend, V. Stiviano, over her “associating with black people” has everyone believing that this 80-year-old billionaire has finally gone too far.

Somehow an audio recording of what is clearly a conversation between two people in a completely healthy and not at all messed up relationship ended up in the hands of TMZ, and the recording’s release has spawned a range of responses from people all over the NBA and Sterling himself
Today the Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling has been banned for life and fined $2.5 million US by the NBA for making racist comments during a recorded conversation with a female companion, commissioner Adam Silver announced today. He said a league investigation found that the league's longest-tenured owner was in fact the person on the audiotapes that were released over the weekend.

Brutal criminals and Human right’s abusers in today’s Nigerian Naval Force

Nigerian uniform Naval offenders
The Unprofessional handling of uniformed men in Nigeria and the abuse of human rights by those who earn a living from the public coffers (Tax) has reached the heights as more and more victims are willing to expose the rot in defiance of the intents of Nigerian government to hide the injustices from the media and the international community. Another victim wrote to a popular Lagos base blogger to recount his ordeal in the hands of brutal unethical Naval officer who have mastered the acts of cruelty against the citizens
See details

On Friday 25th of April 2014 at about 6.10pm, in front of Silverbird Galleria Ahmadu Bello,Victoria Island Lagos, where I was trying to park in a space pre-occupied by another car hence I needed to wait for him to move so I can occupy the empty space. Apparently, a naval Toyota Hilux was behind me all the while then found a way to move from behind me to my side and I was asked by one naval personnel occupying the passenger’s seat what I was doing on the spot, then I replied that I was waiting for the car in front of me to move out of the car-park space so that I can park. The naval personnel abruptly got down from the Hilux and tried to pull me out of the car then he slapped me, tore my shirt and then kicked the door with his boots on - to my surprise he also kicked and broke the glass of the driver’s seat which I occupy.

Soldiers In Forefront Of Fight Against Boko Haram Demand Rotation (Nigerian Solders No longer willing to die)

Nigerian Army picture by Sahara reporters
"Soldiers stationed in the three Northeast states most ravaged by attacks by Boko Haram, a militant Islamist group, want the military hierarchy to implement a policy of rotation, bringing in a new set of soldiers to relieve battle-weary ones.
All soldiers demanded anonymity to avoid reprisals from their officers. In separate interviews with a correspondent of SaharaReporters, the soldiers, who are posted to Borno, Yobe and Adamawa States, criticized the practice of keeping them stationed for too long in the battlegrounds of the fight against the increasingly sophisticated Boko Haram, a group which wants the enthronement of strict Islamic values in Nigeria.

INVESTIGATION: How former Edo Governor, Igbinedion, lost N3.3 billion to Venezuelan conmen [Part 1]

Former Edo Governor Lucky Igbenedion
Mr. Igbinedion, who stole his state blind while he was governor, has now been scammed of billions by Venezuelan fraudsters in a classic 419 deal
Nemesis may have finally caught up with ex-convict and former Governor of Edo State, Lucky Igbinedion, as he has lost over N3.3 billion to Venezuelan fraudsters, in a deal that bears all the marks of a classic 419 scam, PREMIUM TIMES can authoritatively reveal.
Court documents seen by PREMIUM TIMES also suggest that Mr. Igbinedion may be insolvent, as two US-based law firms have walked away from a $600 million lawsuit he instituted against the alleged mastermind and the Venezuelan state owned oil company, Petroleos De Venezuela S.A (PDVSA), over his inability to pay retainer as low as  N627,000.00 ($3,800.00).

THE INTERROGATION - Starring AY And Yemi Blaq US and Nigeria in comedy

The comedian fondly called AY and Yemi Blaq in a comical presentation depicting the shameful manner with which Nigerian Police abuse the rights of citizens comparing it with the obvious professional attitude of the US police. A very Hilarious comedy, Sadly, this is the dehumanizing  mistreatment and age-long style of  Nigerian Police.

Is Pope Francis still following the Catholic's tradition or the Catholic's Bible?

Pope Francis
Catholics would seemed confused about their long traditions as the Pope Francis in a new reports  reportedly told a woman “living in sin” with a divorcee that she is free to take Holy Communion, in what appears to be a significant departure from Catholic teaching. Jacqui Lisbona, who is from the Pope’s homeland of Argentina, wrote to the Jesuit pontiff to tell him that she had been refused Communion by her local priest, who objected to the fact that she was married to a previously divorced man.

ALL BLOGGERS INCLUDING LINDA IKEJI WOULD PAY TO UPLOAD MY SONG--9ICE

Musicians are no longer taking it easy in Nigeria, Money is the drive as  9ice has declared war on bloggers starting deliberately with Linda Ikeji, daring her to put his song for free and was quoted to say  “I will kill… I will fight anybody that dares put my song on the Internet for free!”  Continuing he said “Aye ti di aye ole” translated colloquially The world has turned a lazy haven, where people sit in their houses and claimed to be building a house in their
village, I suspect he is referring to Linda Ikeji who boasted somewhat of a multi-million mansion that she is building for her parents in her Village
When 9ice said  “Who is Linda Ikeji? I don’t know her.” I say Really? What will you say watching the somewhat now public reaction on Ytube?

Sharing of money in Kano after President Jonathan's visit

Do you remember how Jonathan was caught dancing a day after the horrendous Tragedy that claimed about 80 Lives in Abuja   The problem regarding Nigeria originates with corruption. Nigeria's infrastructure is broken, poverty is endemic and the masses are on the verge of breaking point. Religion has been hijacked by both desperate men for personal agenda. Apparently,

Jonathan and his billion dollars airplanes

The President is rubbing shoulders with the oil sheiks. He will soon order for a new plane and he will be piloted by white men. Meanwhile , Nigerians are selling FooFoo in Ghana and washing the toilets in London. They are campaigning to retain office but they don't know what the ordinary Nigerians need. They used to be barefoot, but now, thanks to 'destiny', they now wear jets as shoes.

The presidential jet, Nigerian Air Force 001 (5N-FGT), had earlier conveyed Jonathan to Minna for the -Peoples Democratic Party’s North-Central rally which held at the Trade Fair Centre, Minna.
At the end of the rally, the President returned to the airport in company with top government officials, PDP state governors and party chiefs for a trip to Sokoto, from where he was scheduled to return to Abuja.

A National Insult Rejected By Okey Ndibe

For those unaware of its source, I might as well state from the outset that the title of this column is not original. It’s adapted from a statement released last week by Wole Soyinka. The statement, which bore the Nobel laureate’s stamp of revulsion at moral impunity, chastised the Goodluck Jonathan administration for its bizarre line-up of 100 personalities worthy of honor at a ceremony marking the centenary of Nigeria’s amalgamation.

The centenary list, typical of such rolls in Nigeria, was a hodgepodge. It bracketed imperial personages, so-called “contributors to the making of Nigeria”—including Queen Elizabeth 11 of England and Lord Frederick Lugard, first British overseer of the forcibly amalgamated territory—with such notable nationalist fighters as Herbert Macaulay, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Obafemi Awolowo, and Anthony Enahoro. It squeezed Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Michael Imoudu, Aminu Kano, Kenneth Onwuka Dike, Funmilayo Ransome Kuti, John Pepper Clark, Chike Obi, Chinua Achebe, Wole Soyinka, Dagogo Fubara, and Moshood Kashimawo Abiola into the same tent as Sani Abacha. In an even weirder development, Mr. Abacha shows up—along with Yakubu Gowon, Olusegun Obasanjo and Ibrahim Babangida—under the category of “Outstanding Promoters of Unity, Patriotism and National Development”.

How did we quickly forget that Abacha’s looting of public funds from the vaults of the Central Bank of Nigeria was a patriotic act? Or that he gave his cronies licenses to import toxic fuel into Nigeria because he so fiercely loved Nigerians and fervently desired their development? Or that Babangida’s annulment of the June 12 presidential election was a recipe for Nigeria’s unity?

Centenary Celebrations And The Souls Of The Slaughtered, By Femi Fani-Kayode

Femi Kayode
On February 26, 2014 one Mr. Adegoroye wrote: “Only an insane government will be celebrating centenary while the youths, women, children and citizens are being killed daily in cold blood. Rather than mourn the dead, we want to celebrate one hundred years of a failed state ruled by a failed and cursed generation. This country (Nigeria) needs more than just prayers if the government will be unable, for just twenty four hours, to protect the citizens. Who says we don’t have a war situation in Nigeria? Oh! Families of the pained and the dead should celebrate too? Why not invite them all to Abuja to come and dance and entertain you? Shame has only one definition – shame!”.
These are deep and powerful words and the rage, frustration and despair that fuels them reflects the thinking of many. Mr. Joseph Tobi Daniel drove home the point when, on the same day, he used his twitter handle to ask “what kind of leader focuses on a centenary celebration when the souls of slaughtered children are crying out for justice?”

Pictures from Jonathan's (compensation) award without defined merit

Soyinka reject Jonathan's insulting award

"There is a deplorable message for coming generations in this governance aberration that the entire world has been summoned to witness and indeed, to celebrate. The insertion of an embodiment of ‘governance by terror’ into the company of committed democrats, professionals, humanists and human rights advocates in their own right, is a sordid effort to grant a certificate of health to a communicable disease that common sense demands should be isolated"

“Under that ruler, torture and other forms of barbarism were enthroned as the norm of governance. Nine Nigerian citizens, including the writer and environmentalist, Ken Saro-wiwa, were hanged after a trial that was stomach-churning even by the most primitive standards of judicial trial, and in defiance of the intervention of world leadership.

“We are speaking of a man who placed this nation under siege during an unrelenting reign of terror that is barely different from the current rampage of Boko Haram. It is this very psychopath that was recently canonised by the government of Goodluck Jonathan in commemoration of one hundred years of Nigerian trauma.”

Economist View on Sanusi’s Suspension, A hard sleep for Jonathan

Jonathan & Sanusi
WHEN President Goodluck Jonathan suspended Lamido Sanusi, the governor of Nigeria’s central bank, on February 20th, he succeeded in removing an opponent. But over the past week it has become clear that this small victory has come at a steep price. Not only has Mr Jonathan signalled his unwillingness to tackle the rampant corruption that is eating away at his country—he has also scared foreign investors and presented an open goal to his political enemies.

Sanusi drags Jonathan to court

After President Jonathan hurriedly dismissed the CBN governor Lamido Sanusi to test his power of meddling on the seat of the highest financial citadel of Nigeria, the Latter have resorted to court to prove him wrong and nullify his ouster from office
"In the application filed on his behalf by his lawyer, Kola Awodein, SAN, Sanusi is asking the court to restrain the President, the Attorney General of the Federation and the Inspector General of Police from giving effect to his purported suspension from office as the CBN governor, pending the determination of the suit.

Yaba Tech: Corruption spreads to Nigerian Institute

Yaba college of Technology
Accusations of rampant large scale stealing, double deals, nepotism, the ‘cooking of the books,’ money laundering, collusion, and illegal splitting of contracts, are among just some of the financial hi-jinx, and the subject of a scathing, and shocking, 11 page petition from a high ranking official inside the Yaba College of Technology.  Mr. Olu Ibirogba, the Bursar and Chief Financial Officer of the Yaba College of Technology in Lagos, has raised the alarm, and names names, over what he described as “monumental fraud,” on the college’s treasury by the institution’s rector, Dr. Mrs. Margaret Kudirat Ladipo.

The large scale stealing at the institution has gone on for four years, and the report says, has run into tens of millions of naira.

Ejigbo 3 torture suspects have finally been paraded. The photo shows 10 suspects (Nine men and one woman). Two of the victims who were young girls were arrested along with their mother, tortured and dehumanized by persons who claimed to be members of Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) providing security at the market, and some market association officials who subsequently extorted the sum of fifty thousand naira from the father of the victims in return for their freedom. One of the victims, Juliana Agoma, a national of Republic of Benin, was moved back to Cotonou by her father where she subsequently died allegedly from injuries sustained in the torture.

"Sanusi still CBN governor" says Jonathan (Confused Nigerian clown)

Goodluck Jonathan
This is what you get when you voted for clown to preside over the affairs of state
Only his Thugs believe anything from this Nigerian most currupt president. Any right thinking human would wonder about the rush to suspension of Sanusi no sooner than the central banker exposed the rot at NNPC and the missing $20 Billion dollars.
This president sees the need to eliminate the whistle blower on corruption within 48 hours of a bogus government sponsored report of lies, prepared by thieves for their commander in thief, yet the same president took over 8 months to sack a confirmed thief Stella Oduah, this same president chose to ignore several reports, including Nuhu Ribadu's report that has been collecting dust under his bed, yet jumped on a bogus report and suspended the whistle blower that is exposing his looting cabal even before the case went to court, what a nuisance with presidential powers.

El-Rufai Speaks on Sanusi Lamido's Suspension; His Own Alleged N5billion...

Ugandan President bows to pressure signs anti gay bill

Yoweri Museveni
After months of refusing to sign the anti-gay bill which Uganda's lawmakers passed in December 2013,  President Yoweri Museveni, today succumbed to pressure from within his country and signed the anti-gay bill into law.

He signed the bill at his official residence at Entebbe, near the capital Kampala, in front of govt officials, journalists and a team of Ugandan scientists who found no genetic basis for homosexuality, one of the reasons why he finally consented to signing the bill.

The anti-gay law criminalizes all acts of homosexually in Uganda and calls for first-time homosexual offenders to face a 14 years jail penalty. Continuous Sexual engagement by two homosexuals which involves a minor, disabled person or anyone with HIV AIDS attracts a life sentence.

Randy Night Security man rapes girls returning from vigil

"A security man, Kelly Ochuko, has been accused of raping a 24-year-old lady, Tivere, while she was returning from a vigil at the Synagogue Church of All Nation.
The police said the incident happened around 2am on Mutiatu Street, Ikotun, Lagos State.
It was learnt that the victim had travelled to Lagos from Sapele, Delta State, to participate in the Pastor Temitope Joshua’s midnight programme.
Around 2am, she had left for her lodgings when 27-year-old Ochukwo allegedly accosted her.
The security man, who was employed by the Igando Landlord’s Association to guard the area, reportedly threatened to harm the victim with a cutlass.
She reportedly yielded and followed him into an uncompleted building where the act took place.

Only in Nigeria, Deziani must be very good working UNDER Jonathan

Deziani Allison Madueke
Deziani Allison Madueke is feeling fly, why not? She has become the Nigerian symbol of “Touch not my” “My” in this case is Jonathan the most condoning corrupt President of a docile Nigeria.
With the whistle blower  Sanusi’s dismissal, all the corrupt birds can fly supported by their sycophants willing to cover their mess with a white apparel

ONLY in Nigeria, $20billion is ‘MISSING’ & Didzeani Madueke is still busy working UNDER President Goodluck Jonathan. She must be VERY GOOD. I did not say Good in Bed

THIEVES AT WORK, DON'T DISTURB by Sam Nda Isaiah

Jonathan & latest Saint Sanusi

With President Goodluck Jonathan, many things we once thought were impossible have become very possible. It’s only under Jonathan that we started spending N2 trillion on fuel subsidy without any significant increase in our population. In his first year in office, the president spent about N2 trillion fuel subsidy even though only N245 billion was appropriated for this. Only in the Nigerian style democracy would this man continue as president two years after this revelation. In decent climes, a president like this would have long been impeached and removed from office by the National Assembly in the national interest.

Tunde Bakare on Sanusi heroism and Jonathan’s many goofs

Pastor Tunde Bakare
"Make no mistake about it, few men have the courage of Sanusi Lamido Sanusi. Few men have the aristocratic dignity of a man who time and again, while in public office, raised his voice against profligacy and monetary imprudence especially among the legislators and sometimes among the executive; perhaps, no serving government official has been as outspoken against misgovernace as the suspended CBN Governor,

Sanusi's Head, Nigeria's Roof By Pius Adesanmi

Pius Adesanmi

(Reader, the piece below was addressed to my social media audience on Facebook today in reaction to the Sanusi Lamido Sanusi saga. It stands in for this column today. Forgive the casualness. It's initial audience are regulars on my Facebook Wall and I have deemed modifications unnecessary as it goes to a wider audience here.)
Dis Nigeria sef! You miss a day’s news cycle and you wake up to news that you’ve missed ten lifetimes’ worth of odoriferous higi-hagaric kookaburra (apologies to Patrick Obahiagbon). Yesterday morning, I was ferried from Johannesburg to Pretoria at the instance of Anesh Maistry, Deputy Director, Foreign Service, at South Africa’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to give a talk on the possibilities of cultural diplomacy for Africa. Anesh had heard at the last minute that I was in Johannesburg for a lecture and insisted that I must come to Pretoria for a talk in his fief at the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (alias Foreign Affairs Ministry in Abuja).

Chimamanda bombs Nigerian Lawmaker over the folly of Gay Law

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
I will call him Sochukwuma. A thin, smiling boy who liked to play with us girls at the university primary school in Nsukka. We were young. We knew he was different, we said, ‘he’s not like the other boys.’ But his was a benign and unquestioned difference; it was simply what it was. We did not have a name for him. We did not know the word ‘gay.’ He was Sochukwuma and he was friendly and he played oga so well that his side always won.
In secondary school, some boys in his class tried to throw Sochukwuma off a second floor balcony. They were strapping teenagers who had learned to notice, and fear, difference. They had a name for him. Homo. They mocked him because his hips swayed when he walked and his hands fluttered when he spoke. He brushed away their taunts, silently, sometimes grinning an uncomfortable grin. He must have wished that he could be what they wanted him to be. I imagine now how helplessly lonely he must have felt. The boys often asked, “Why can’t he just be like everyone else?”

"To be honest, I think we failed (William Folorunsho) Kumuyi when he was so serious about Bible Study—Primate Joseph Abiodun Adetilo-ye (1929-2012)

GOD planted Deeper Life Bible Church and asked William Folorunsho Kumuyi to tend it. Very much like the Edenic story: God organized a garden and put Adam in charge.

The young evangelist and Mathematics lecturer at the University of Lagos insisted that God sent him to deliver nothing but the face value of the Bible he held as his authority. Few people took him seriously.

God broke the deadlock in August 1973 when Kumuyi, still teaching, started a Bible Study Group in his official Flat 2 residence at Unilag. The 15-member team met every Monday under the leadership of William Folorunsho Kumuyi. Here, he sowed the seed of what God has turned into a huge church straddling all of Nigeria and reaching outwards across Africa and to several dozens of nations all over Planet Earth.

EXPLOSIVE: Ribadu Opens Up: Why the South-West did not vote for me in 2011

Nuhu-Ribadu
“…if I was doing Obasanjo’s bidding, how comes those opposed to him are the ones who asked me to come and run under their platform?”
Nuhu Ribadu worked in the Nigerian Police Force where he rose to become the Chief prosecutor and Head of Legal Unit of the Force. In 2003, he was appointed the pioneer head of the newly formed anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. He was forced out of the agency in 2007 for failing to do the biddings of the then President Musa Yar’Adua.
In 2010, the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, selected him as its presidential candidate for the 2011 election. He lost the election, but continued to be a member of the ACN which has now merged with three other political parties to form the All Progressives Congress, APC.
In this chat with Ashafa Barkiya, editor of the well-regarded Hausa newspaper,RARIYA, Mr. Ribadu speaks about his life, career, politics and why he accepted to serve as Chairman of the Petroleum Revenue Special Task Force. The interview was translated to English by PREMIUM TIMES’ Sani Tukur.
Excerpt:
You were not well known prior to your appointment as Chairman of the EFCC. How did you join the Police, and why?
Thanks to Allah, I joined the Police after I completed my first degree in 1984.  I also went to law school and qualified as a Barrister. We were some of the earliest to join the Police after qualifying as lawyers from the North.
Certainly, there were reasons why I decided to join the police, even though I was offered direct employment by the NNPC, UBA, PZ and Corporate Affairs Commission after I completed my youth service. Many people were surprised at my decision to join the police. They thought my lean frame disqualified me from being a police officer. Secondly, no one in my family had ever worked with the police. Thirdly, people thought the police was not for the well-educated.

Two days ago (on 12th February 2014) in Borno state Boko Haram killed 60 innocent Nigerians and carted off 24 young girls without any trace. On January 27th 2014 no less than 70 innocent Nigerians were murdered in cold blood by Boko Haram in a series of attacks in Borno and Adamawa states.

On January 14th 2014 at least 50 of our compatriots were blown to pieces by a Boko Haram suicide bomber in the heart of Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state. Not too long before then they attacked an army barracks in Borno, killed 200 soldiers, carted off the wives and children of our military personnel and burnt the barracks to the ground.

A few weeks prior to that, numerous schools were attacked and hundreds of our children were either shot to death, hacked to pieces or had their throats cut and blood drained. Consequently many schools have been closed down in Borno and Yobe states respectively.
